First digital camera ever built. It was created in December 1975 by an engineer at Eastman Kodak named Steve Sasson.

In 1991, Kodak released the first professional digital camera system (DCS), aimed at photojournalists. It was a Nikon F-3 camera equipped by Kodak with a 1.3 megapixel sensor. Connected to storage unit, or to put it simply, a really fucking big memory card. So, yeah we’ve come a long way.
