Who the FUCK are you?
And why the FUCK do you remove credit from everything you reblog?
And to all your followers: For fuck’s sake, stop enabling this person. Reblog from the person who alaskaneyes reblogged from, because that person, not being a dickface, probably DID leave the credits intact. Better yet, why don’t you unfollow this person? You can find the same exact content on other tumblrs.
Sure, I didn’t take that photo of hammerhead sharks, and yeah, I bet I’m not the first to stumble on and blog it. But it takes time to find cool shit on the internet. You could’ve found that picture too, but guess what? YOU DIDN’T.
And now, you have created a chain of dozens of subsequent reblogs that make it seem as if you DID. You actually exerted EFFORT to delete credit.
Oh, and I’m happy to tell you that this is SPACESHIPS. I’ve never bitched out another tumblr, ever, and I always thought I didn’t give a shit about credit removal, but you’ve done it to hundreds of other people, and you have near a thousand followers.Just — STOP.
[ just submitted my first ever unfollowfriday; can’t believe I’m pissed about this, but I’m watching a picture from 2 months ago explode to over 100 notes in an hour, all with ALASKANEYES’ name under it. Ugh. ]
Edited to add: dirtyrose makes a good point that removing credit means killing the chances of lesser-known tumblrs to gain exposure from a popular post. (so true.)
I don’t normally get involved with these kinds of things on Tumblr, but just for the record I’m not down with credit removing. Keep the credit. Period.
Also I agree that dirtyrose makes a great point about killing lesser-known Tumblrs chances of exposure…
